Yoga

YOGA with carli

Join Carli on Tuesday Nights at 7:30 p.m. for Vinyasa for Climbers!

I fell in love with yoga by accident years ago, somewhere between climbing and  failed attempts at learning handstands. Years later, I decided the next step in my practice was to bring it to others. I received my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification in the birthplace of yoga, Rishikesh, India, in the summer of 2019. I thoroughly enjoy guiding the community through their yoga practice and showing that yoga is for everyone.

Classes are open to all skill and experience levels!

Yoga with Liz

Thursdays at 7:30pm!

I started practicing yoga in high school and fell in love with the idea that everything is about balance. I practice yoga to help my body and mind stay healthy, and I think it is the perfect compliment to climbing. Physically, climbing is so much "pulling" and yoga balances that out with "pushing" movements. Also, climbing can be so focused on grades, while yoga is all about your personal practice and doing what feels right at the time. I have been a teacher for about a year now, so my classes are still evolving as I gain experience. I enjoy teaching slow flows, which involve moving through a series of poses, and ending class with slower, passive stretching. I also focus on areas that specifically benefit climbers, such a pectoral stretching and back strengthening. I am excited to grow and learn while sharing my love of yoga with other climbers!
