Onsight USAC Youth Local Bouldering Competition

Onsight Rock Gym is proud to host a USA Climbing Youth Local Bouldering Competition for youth climbers who are competing in the local climbing circuit on their way to Regionals, Divisionals, Nationals and beyond!

SCHEDULE:

In order to reduce crowding and allow more opportunities for competitors to climb, there will be Two Sessions and spaces are limited. Each session is open to ALL categories and registration is on a First-Come-First-Served basis. The sessions are as follows:

SESSION 1

8:30am - Check-In and Day-of Registrations
8:45am - Competitors' Meeting
9:00am to 12:00pm - Climbing

Scoring and Awards for BOTH sessions will be done after Session 2 is done climbing, at approximately 3:30 PM.

Comp Format:

This is a redpoint format competition. Each competitor has 3 hours to complete their 5 most difficult boulder problems they can.  

PRICING:

Early Registration (By September 13 ) - $35 

Late Registration (After September 13) - $45

USA Climbing MEMBERSHIP INFO:

This USA Climbing sanctioned competition is open to all youth climbers. 

If you are new to competition climbing and NOT a current USA Climbing member, you must purchase either a Competitor Membership ($95) or an Introductory Membership ($20). You can purchase either from the USA Climbing Website. An Introductory Membership will allow you to compete and be placed among the other competitors in local competitions throughout the year, but it will not allow you to compete in championship events. Learn more about the Introductory and Competitor membership options here.

USA Climbing youth age categories for the 2019 -2020 season are defined by birth year:

Youth D: 2009 or later I Youth C: 2008 or 2007 I Youth B: 2006 or 2005 I Youth A: 2004 or 2003 I Junior: 2002 or 2001
